Nkuli Mlangeni-Berg
Founder of design studio and collaorative platform The Ninevites, and a part of the South African Artists Imbizo collective, Nkuli Mlangeni-Berg is a textile artist who weaves her Zulu-Ndebele roots into the patterns of her work and collaborative efforts.
Linking her current base in Sweden with connections in South Africa, throughout the African continent, and beyond, Mlangeni-Berg prioritizes collaboration with artisans and suppliers deeply connected to ancestral lands and artisanal praxis, and works to uplift and amplify African textile artists in all her endeavours.
